For the first time, I am truly devastated to see someone shut down their thoughts. You are amazing friend (that I’ve never even met) and I feel like you were such a part of my life, and I yours. Weird how this fucking blog world can do this.

I think you made me a much better person and I felt less alone in the world seeing another person who struggled with the fight of alcoholism.

I can understand your reasons, I just don’t like them. I hope you’ll stay connected by at least continuing to read me.

It’s been a wonderful ride, all the ups and downs, laughs and cries. I know I will miss coming here. If you do set down blogroots (thx Chickie) please let me know. I was hoping to follow through high school graduations, weddings, grandparenthood, wheelchairs and nursing homes - guess I will have to get a life now - gulp!

I completely understand the need to be anonymous so thank you for giving us a glimpse inside your soul for so long. Yours was the first blog of a total stranger that I began reading regularly. I’ve looked forward to your entries and will miss your insight.

My heart hurts. Out of all the blogs I visit on a regular basis, yours was one of the best. I loved coming by to see how this wonderful father and husband juggled life. I’ll miss this place. It was one where I could always visit and be guaranteed total honesty, whether it was pretty or not. I certainly hope that you do begin writing again, and that I’m lucky enough to find out where it is.

Um gosh, it’s all been said. I’ll miss your blog. You gave me insight to the other side of to why someone who is so awesome drinks (or whatever) and why sometimes it’s not all cut and dried.

I hope you’ll find another outlet and maybe I can stumble across you again.
