This might seem a little random, but I just wanted to say this: Business IS personal. Anyone who tells you otherwise is absolutely wrong.  Anyone who tells you that business isn’t personal is trying to get away with something.

Due to the building collapse in Harlem (injury-free, I understand!) and the resulting Metro North havoc, my echocardiogram has been rescheduled to tomorrow morning.

Love to all.  Even you, the guy who sent emails to everyone and anyone but rich-at-championable.com.

  1. I think it is more accurate to say that people don’t generally do things TO you, they just DO things and sometimes we get caught in the ensuing chaos. Very seldom do those kinds of people think about anyone but themselves, and what’s good for them.

  2. The domino effect of life. Not so delicious.

  3. Read about the building collapse online - oh well, another day to wait for me things to be pasted to your body! Hope you are doing well - and I don’t want to get into your personal business - so there! Or the personal aspect of your business - I have a hard enough time scheduling time to go to the bathroom. Welcome to my crazy world…

  4. correction to above…”another day to wait for THE things…” my fingers are atrophied.

  5. Business IS personal, and people who run their businesses with compassion and integrity are on to something, though it saddens me to think that it’s the people who don’t who tend to succeed more often…

  6. Good luck today. Saying prayers for a positive outcome.

  7. I was worried yesterday that the hold up at GCT was going to prevent you from making it to your echo (Echo! Echo! Hello? Hello? lo…lo…lo…). Ross got on one of the first Harlem line trains out and it was packed and took forever.

Good luck today, and sorry you are being hit with more stress at work.

  8. In a world where we spend more time at work then we do at home, more time with our co-workers than with our families…

    Of COURSE business is personal.

  9. Business is personal only when people care enough to make sure things are handled correctly.

Otherwise, it’s simply some a–hat feeding you lines and waiting for the day to end.
