Which was followed by thinking of how much better conditioned a 28-yr. old former collegiate swimmer (who's run DC, Chicago & Philly 26.2s) is than her 37-yr. old asthmatic cousin (that would be me) is. Sorry for the digression. And I think 8:33 is pretty impressive regardless of weather or training. Good job!
