Dear younger children of mine.

…you underestimated me. (Or perhaps, overestimated me.)

Love to all. Even you, the smarmy dude I knew years ago who is still - it turns out - smarmy.

    Hey, that’s my schtick! Always take the dare, no matter what. Two of my three kids have taken that lesson to heart. I’ve got the bail money ready.
