Whose kid IS this?
How does my nine-year-old instinctively know that it's better to apologize to someone face-to-face than over the phone? The kid has the most amazing internal moral structure... it continuously blows me away.
Love to all.
Love to all.

I just finished reading "The Winter of Our Discontent" by John Steinback. One of the many philosophical messages that are conveyed in this book is that sometimes we don't even know our own children, even when they are so little.
It's overwhelmingly scary.
As a father of three living "the American dream", I would highly recommend this book to you.
Must be some good parenting on your (and Maggie's) part!
