This is the first time I haven't just rocketed back to health after starting antibiotics.

Oh, yuck. That's way too high for someone on antibiotics; call your doctor. Do you like who you're seeing? Do you need a second opinion?

antibiotics have a way of making viruses immune to them... if you've taken it for a few years try a stronger antibiotic
